Editorial policy
Why you can trust what you read
Similia is written by named practitioners and reviewed before publication. Every article carries its author’s name and credentials, and pieces that touch on health questions are checked by a second qualified reviewer before they go live. If we cannot stand behind a claim, we do not publish it.
How we choose and check topics
We write about what readers actually ask us — a herb they heard about, a homeopathic concept they want explained, a seasonal concern — and about the traditional uses of plants with a documented history. Where tradition and modern research disagree, we say so plainly. Where the evidence is thin, we say that too.
Sourcing standards
- We cite historical and traditional sources for classical claims, such as Hahnemann’s own writings or standard herbal texts.
- We reference peer-reviewed literature where it exists, and we distinguish clearly between tradition, anecdote, and study findings.
- We do not accept payment for coverage. The magazine is funded by consultations, not by brands, and no article exists to sell you a product.
Corrections policy
Mistakes happen; hiding them should not. When we find an error — or a reader reports one — we verify it, correct the article, and add a dated update note. Substantive corrections are logged at the foot of the article so the history stays visible. You can report a problem at any time through the contact form, and every message is read by an editor.
Independence
Our editorial team operates separately from our consultation services. Practitioners who consult may also write, but no author may promote their own products or services in an article, and commercial interests never influence our coverage.
